Stephanie Rodgers is a 22-year-old student from a small town in Southern Ontario, Georgetown, she currently lives in the city of St. Catharine's. A graduate from Georgetown District High School, she currently attends Brock University for Concurrent Education in Integrated Studies. Stephanie is pursuing double degree for a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education. We are thrilled to share that she has been gaining recognition for her art through various channels as part of her efforts to establish herself as an artist.

Most recently Stephanie has been selected as 1 of 8 artists to be featured in the Common Groundz exhibit at Art Gallery, Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts in St. Catherine’s, Ontario from March 14 - Apr 7, 2017. In addition to this current endeavour, Stephanie has included her works in international contest entries, and has been included in the Red Door gallery. An event held in Georgetown promoting young artists which was held on March 10th, 2017.

Stephanie's most current works have been influenced by her surroundings within the Niagara region. She is focusing on the complex layering of different techniques and materials to show a new visual representation with abstract perspective of the natural landscape.

Stephanie has investigated the mark making process using acrylic paint and various other mediums, while focusing on the complex layering of rich patterns. Some of Stephanie’s past works have been influenced by her travels to Italy. Through her adventures, her works show how she explored the organic natural patterns while combining images of human-made forms of architecture to truly capture what she saw while exploring the beautiful cities in Italy.
